American Looking For Help

Hi All,

Please excuse the English. Unfortunately, I do not know Germany.

I am an American who just finished driving the Pan-American Highway in my 1979 T2 bus and am currently in the process of shipping it to Germany to continue my adventures. Unfortunately, due to the purchase of bad air filters (and probably compounded by personal error), I recently ended up with some dust damage to my engine. The result is that I have significant burning of oil and my valves no longer hold adjustment well.

I find myself in need of a bit of help. My vehicle arrives in Hamburg on April 11th and I'm looking for access to a garage as well as contacts/recommendations for engine rebuilders.

I'll keep it short to get the conversation started, but I'm happy to answer any additional questions that might help clarify who I am or what I'm looking for. Photos of my bus and me during the trip can be found on my Instagram @outintonowhere.

Best,

Kevin

Another option is our members map.
The blue triangles are companies/garages with experience in air cooled vehicles or engines.

Also in Hamburg but not in the members map:
